Effective September 12, 2026
This policy describes how SLC Interactive (“we”, “us”) handles information in the iPhone game Escaping Hell and on slcinteractive.com.
Short version: we do not run a game server, we do not create accounts, and we do not collect names, emails, locations, or advertising identifiers. What little leaves the phone goes to Apple, not to us.
Who we are
SLC Interactive publishes Escaping Hell. If you have questions about this policy, write to support at support@slcinteractive.com.
What stays on your device
The game keeps a small save file on the phone. It holds things like your best height, sound and handedness settings, and — if a leaderboard post did not go through — a score to retry later. That file does not leave the device unless you back the phone up yourself.
What we collect
We do not operate a backend that receives player data. We do not ask for an email address, a name, or a login of our own. We do not use advertising identifiers, analytics SDKs, crash reporters we host, or any tracker that follows you across apps.
This website is static files. We do not set cookies, and we do not run analytics on these pages.
Apple services the game talks to
If you use features that need Apple, those features use Apple’s services under Apple’s Privacy Policy:
- Game Center. Leaderboards post scores and show Game Center display names. We do not receive a copy of that list. Signing in to Game Center is optional; the rest of the game works without it.
- MetricKit. On iOS, Apple can collect anonymous performance and gameplay counts — launches, crashes, hangs, which mode you played, whether a climb finished, and how long finished climbs lasted. Apple aggregates those numbers and may share the aggregates with us in Xcode Organizer. They are not linked to you, and they are not used to track you. Devices only share this if Share with App Developers is turned on in iOS settings.
We do not upload those reports to a server of our own. We do not use them for advertising.
What we do not do
- We do not sell personal information. We do not have a store of it to sell.
- We do not show ads in the game or on this site.
- We do not use App Tracking Transparency or the IDFA, because we do not track anyone.
- We do not share player data with third-party analytics or marketing companies.
Children
Escaping Hell is a single-player arcade climb. It does not ask children for personal information and does not include chat, user-generated content, or links out of the app. Parents who have a question can reach us at the address below.
Email you send us
If you write to support@slcinteractive.com, we receive whatever you put in that message so we can reply. We do not use those messages for anything else, and we do not add you to a list.
Changes
If this policy changes, we will update this page and the date at the top. For a change that actually affects how data is handled, we will say so plainly here.
